Taking 4th Kyu is an account of the first official test I took in the martial art of Aikido. This was also the first essay I wrote in my first year of college, and is what led me to change my major from art to writing. It has since gone through heavy revisions (extremely necessary ones) but the heart of the essay hasn't changed since I wrote it in 2016.
